# Introduction

Visual to be created

On SCR, releases are created by the carriers on the platform (such as Hapag-Lloyd and MSC).

These carriers then transfer the releases they created to their partners, who can either retrieve the PIN for these releases, or transfer them to their partners in turn, or assign the releases to their drivers to then pick them up without needing a PIN, on the condition the terminal they’re picking it up from is connected to SCR in the required ways.
